The Wildlife Garden

Previously my hen run this part of the garden has flourished into the wild garden. Two apple trees and surrounding conifers help to make this a cool and shady spot in the summer. I also have two Holly trees but so far there have been no berries. Male and female plants which are needed in this case does not seem to have worked. Maybe next year?

At the other side of the garden I have grown four different varieties of Berberis. They are doing quite well but it would be nice to see them thicken up more.

I have managed to propagate the Dogwood and the lovely red colour stands out well against the green tree in the sunlight.

The pond is in front of the statuette and that really has become a haven for frogs. That I can safely say has been a success.
